Install CubeCart - store builder

The first step in setting up your store is to install CubeCart under your hosting account with us. You can do this using our quick install tool, EasyApp. Your store will be installed on our Internet servers so shoppers can access it 24 hours a day, seven days a week from anywhere in the world. No software is downloaded to your PC during this process.

Please follow the steps below to complete the installation:

1) Login to the hosting control panel using the user name and password provided in your welcome e-mail message.

2) Select EasyApps under the Domain Settings menu.

3) On the EasyApps Collection screen, you'll see a list of applications that can be installed under your account:

4) Click on CubeCart and a screen similar to the one below will be displayed with a description of CubeCart along with a link to install your web store.

5) Click on the Install link at the bottom of the screen to begin the installation process and a page similar to the one below will be displayed:

6) If you’re hosting multiple domains/sites, select the domain name you want to add your store to from the Domain dropdown, then enter the Path, i.e., folder name, you want your store installed under (normally you’ll keep the default, “cubecart”).

7) Next, enter the desired Password and Confirm the password by re-entering it.

8) Then, enter the E-mail address and name of the person who will be the store administrator (Admin Full Name).

9) Finally, click on the blue, "I agree to be bound by…", link to read terms of usage and then click the check box to agree to the terms. Press the Submit Query button to complete the install.

After CubeCart is installed, a page showing the URL used by shoppers to access your store is displayed. If you click on the link you will be taken to your new store.

You can also now login to the store administration tool and begin adding products and configuring your store for shoppers (see the section below, “Configuring your web store”).

Tip: When you enter a value into a field in the control panel, a plus sign, “+”, appears after the field to indicate that the value you entered is valid. An exclamation mark, “!”, after the field indicates that the value you entered is not valid.

Warning: It can take 24-48 hours for your domain name information to propagate throughout the Internet, so you may not be able to access your store immediately after signing up using your domain name. You can however, use the interim URL we provide in the welcome e-mail message to begin building and testing your store immediately.
